About Us

Angie Home & Community Services provides personalised home and community support for older people and people with disability across Melbourne.

We take the time to understand each person’s needs, preferences and everyday routines. Support is provided with respect for individual choices, independence, privacy and dignity.

Whether support is needed at home or in the community, our focus is to provide reliable and practical assistance that helps people continue with the routines, activities and connections that are important to them.

Our Story

Angie Home & Community Services was founded by Ada Zhou, drawning on more than 17 years of experience across aged care and disability sectors.

Throughout her career, Ada has worked closely with older people, people with disability, families, support workers and other care professionals. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of what quality care and support should look like in everyday practice.

Alongside her work in the care sector, Ada is also an experienced vocational educator specialising in aged care and disability. Over the years, she has trained and supported many students who have gone on to become skilled support workers and build their careers in the care sector.

Working across both care services and education has shaped Ada's approach to AHCS. She believes good support is about more than completing everyday tasks. It is about listening, understanding the person, respecting their choices and having reliable people around them who genuinely care about the quality of support they provide.

AHCS was created with these values in mind — to provide personal, respectful and reliable support that helps people maintain their independence and continue doing the things that matter to them.
